How to Merge Multiple Sections of Your Courses

The Course Merge Request Form was created so instructors could request having multiple sections of a course combined into a single course shell.
Note: If you are requesting multiple merges, please submit a separate submission per request.

Most requests are processed within 24 hours unless submitted over the weekend or on a holiday.
The requestor(s) will receive a confirmation email once the request has been completed.

Submitting the form

You will need the following information

  1. Date Requested
  2. Requestor’s First and Last Name
  3. Semester (selected from dropdown)
  4. Courses to be merged (e.g., BIOL-100 Sec 001 and BIOL-100 Sec 002)
Be sure to include course abbreviation and section number.
  5. Requestor’s CI Email
  6. Which course should be used as the master shell? e.g., BIOL-100 Sec 002)
Be sure to indicate if one section has content that should be retained.
If no preference, leave this question blank.
